About Us

First Light Studios was establish in 1992 in Randolph, Vt.’s historic photography studio on Pleasant Street. First Light provides high-quality photography for publication and corporations as well as offering space for display of fine art and musical composition.

Bob Eddy is a photojournalist, portrait, landscape photographer and painter. For twenty years he has served on the staff of The Herald of Randolph and managed First Light Studios in Randolph, Vermont. His credits include The New York Times, The Boston Globe, Vermont Life, Readers Digest, Yankee, numerous other periodicals and books. He has also served as staff photographer for dairy farmers of the Cabot Creamery Cooperative of Vermont.

Kathy Wonson Eddy majored in music at Middlebury College and studied organ at the Yale School of Music and choral conducting at the Yale Institute of Sacred Music while she was a student at Yale Divinity School. A prolific composer, she has over 200 choral and instrumental works that have been performed.


Tim
Tim Calabro began his photography career at The Herald of Randolph and First Light Studios in 2000, while still in high school in South Royalton, Vt. He lives in Randolph.
